Stay tuned for more details!

We'll use some great resources to guide our ACTION HOUR!

"5"
The next five years can be the most exciting and satisfying years of your life—or just another five years. For milestone occasions, or everyday inspiration, let 5 be your guide. This book features thought-provoking quotations and real-life stories and anecdotes to serve as both a spark and a road map.

The Leadership Challenge, 4th Ed.
This leadership classic continues to be a bestseller after three editions and twenty years in print. It is the gold standard for research-based leadership, and the premier resource on becoming a leader. The Leadership Challenge, Fourth Edition, has been extensively updated with the latest research and case studies, and offers inspiring new stories of real people achieving extraordinary results. The authors' central theme remains the same and is more relevant today than ever: "Leadership is Everyone's Business." Their "five practices" and "ten commitments" have been proven by hundreds of thousands of dedicated, successful leaders. This edition, with almost one-third new material, emphasizes the global community and refocuses on business leaders.

Social Change Model of Leadership Development
Leadership is a process rather than a position.
This model is designed to enhance the development of leadership qualities in all students—those who hold formal leadership positions as well as those who do not—and to promote a process that is inclusive and actively engages all who wish to contribute.

The model explicitly promotes the values of equity, social justice, self-knowledge, personal empowerment, collaboration, citizenship, and service.

This model is designed to develop in each student participant greater Self-knowledge understanding of one's talents, values, interests, especially as these relate to the student's capacity to provide effective leadership; and Leadership competence: the capacity to mobilize oneself and others to serve and to work collaboratively.
